At this time, all sessions are virtual so we can meet from the comfort of your home! I am currently only able to meet with clients who are located in the state of NY based on my licensure. We use all HIPPA compliant software for virtual sessions as well.
For evaluations, we can meet in person!

Dr. Broems is not in-network with any insurance providers. She is able to provide you with superbills (receipts) that you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement following sessions. It is encouraged that you reach out to your insurance company and ask about out-of-network insurance reimbursement.
It is also helpful to find out how you can submit your Super Bills to your insurance, which The Psych Lady provides for all clients .

The first step is to reach out to Dr. Tori and schedule a free initial phone consultation. We will discuss your concerns, needs and goals and gain a better sense if our practice is the right fit for you and if we have the expertise to address your needs.
If we mutually decide to move forward, we will schedule your first session, which will be an intake session. We will gather detailed information about your background, therapy goals, challenges etc. in order for us to create a tailored treatment plan.
Take a look at our “Contact Us” page or email Dr. Tori at dr.toribroems@gmail.com

We hear you! Although mental health access has increased and normalization of therapy continues to spread, we understand that stigmas regarding mental health disorders still exist.
We firmly believe that going to therapy is cool and that taking care of your brain (arguably the most important organ) is essential to health and wellness. Just like any other organ, when it needs support, the brain is to be treated the same way.
At The Psych Lady, our goal is to normalize mental health issues and we are here to support you as you embark on this journey. Whether you are a veteran therapy goer or first timer, we will work to support you! After all, taking this next step is an amazing accomplishment.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.
You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
